On
June 10, 2009 several NLPOA members returned to
revitalize Fresno County NLPOA Chapter. Present were
Chuck Arrellano, California Chapter Central Valley
Vice President and Jess Martinez, Kings County
Chapter President. The members in attendance were
from the Fresno County Sheriffs Office, Probation
Department, District Attorney's Office, Fresno
Police Dept. and City of Mendota. |

The Chapter
is planning a Golf Tournament for next year's
Scholarship Fund raiser and working on developing a
Mentorship program.
|
|
|
|
The
following members stepped forward to serve in the
interim as Board Members; Ruben Diaz, President;
John Moreno, 1st VP; Joe Ortiz, 2nd VP; Lorraine
Sepeda, Secretary; Lt. Elias Mendez, Treasurer; and
Sgt. Hank Ramirez, Parliamentarian. At our first
official meeting we had an outstanding attendance,
members from the community (Associate members) and
Mariano Flores, (one of our original members). |
